Structures & Strategies - week 6

Question Describe in detail, one method you have used to gather information on your performance.

Read Data Collection information sheets in Workbook

How & When should data be collected? All observation schedules should be completed in a performance situation. This would be playing a match against an opponent of a similar ability. A second assessment at a later date against the same criteria can be recorded to show the degree of progress that has occurred.

Valid & Reliable Data Validity: The ability to produce accurate results that can be relied on. From the results statistical information can be produced to provide a permanent record of the strengths and weaknesses on performance. Reliability: If the findings of a test can be repeated, it is said to be reliable. It can be repeated using the same conditions so accurate comparisons and conclusions can be made.

The Cycle of Analysis Initial data collection Focused data collection Identify positive & negative aspects of performance Identify area to develop Plan the training programme Undertake training programme Monitor training programme We need to re-evaluate performance. Can you help me improve?
