Presentation transcript:

AOI Institute was first established in May 2003 and we are proudly the first fully online institute in Australia delivering IT course in Australia. Later on in 2005 we were registered to deliver our courses for international students.

Our culture and values are important to us and we want to make sure that we continue to provide a great place for our employees to work. The Institute is small enough for you to make a real difference and big enough for us to be able to offer an exciting range of opportunities. You can be a part of us!

 In Australia, the labour movement is understood to encompass a formal "political wing", frequently known by the name labour party or workers' party, which complements the aforementioned "industrial wing".

 Workers' rights are a group of legal rights and claimed human rights having to do with labour relations between workers and their employers, usually obtained under labour and employment law. The labour movement initially focused on this "right to unionize", but attention has shifted elsewhere.

 Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are used a lot in businesses outside the web environment. Your position need to analyse as many aspects of your website as possible and try to improve it all the time.  try to find out what the searching habits of your customers are. The purpose of a Key Performance Indicators is to measure a certain activity, analyse the data and learn or improve.

Accountability is a concept in ethics and governance with several meanings. It is often used synonymously with such concepts as answerability, blameworthiness, liability, and other terms associated with the expectation of account- giving. In leadership roles, accountability is the acknowledgment and assumption of responsibility for actions, products, decisions, and policies.

You are required to go on to complete the General Organisational Induction Training Checklist. It is important that you spend time with the checklist for you to find those in managerial roles have more specific induction activities that must be undertaken.

 What the health and safety rules are  Human resource requirements  Mission statement  Disciplinary procedures  Sickness and leave procedures *For more information and details, kindly ask our friendly staff after the induction *

Feedback for new staff is critical to improvement. Feedback provided from us not only let you find ways to improve also develop your induction programs.

 A longer period of probation may be applied if the employee and manager agree in writing before the employment commences. Negotiation regarding an extended probation period should commence no later than when the offer of employment is made. The General Manager has the discretion to waive the probationary period where reasonable justification exists.  The General Manager may: a) at any time during the period of probation, terminate the person’s employment by signed notice. b) at the end of the probation period - confirm the appointment, or - extend the period of probation, or - terminate the person’s employment by signed notice. c) at any time during the probationary period, shorten the probationary period.

Thank you for joining us today! Please feel free to ask/send us questions at any time!
