Awareness and sensitization on regional knowledge sharing opportunities: It is essential to make stakeholders aware of existence of regional knowledge sharing platforms. Sensitizing the stakeholders on the importance of regional knowledge sharing and making them aware of the benefits is essential. Both financial and human capacities of network partners needs to be strengthened This will facilitate utilization of the platform for regional knowledge sharing. Greater coherence and integration of information systems: Developing Standard knowledge sharing practices, regular meetings and forums will increase coherence amongst network partners and enhance knowledge sharing. The following steps would be essential: Providing feedbacks and technical support in knowledge sharing by a national or local platform at the regional level. Sharing examples of knowledge integration incentivizes knowledge sharing as it will be motivating for the respondent to know how the knowledge shared has helped implementation of a specific project. The following steps would be essential: Identifying best practices at the regional forum and publicizing them in the region will promote members to share their experiences and best practices for greater visibility of their efforts. Awards could be given to acknowledge outstanding local or national knowledge sharing efforts at regional level. Introducing concept of Knowledge Currency Units ( like earning points on a credit card) for rewarding active contributors through gifts in the form of books, prizes etc. could incentivize regional knowledge sharing.
