The Way We Were! “Bless this mess!”  LMS experienced “restructuring” in Low Faculty morale Teachers Worried About Jobs Inconsistent Limit Setting/”Burnout”  PBIS was a low priority Meetings Frequently” Bumped” Lack of Motivation/Low “Buy In” Staff Overtaxed With Additional Tasks Inconsistent Data Entry Data Not Reviewed Few “Caught Yas” Given Few Students Being Reinforced

Ch-Ch-Changes! Kept  Discipline Procedure Flowchart  PBIS Consequences Matrix But Changed During the PBIS Summer Institute, the flowchart and matrix were re- vamped to reflect our school’s procedures and philosophy.

Ch-Ch-Changes! Kept The LMS Code of Conduct. 1.I am respectful. 2.I am responsible. 3.I am safe. 4.I am prepared. But Changed Every morning the students recite the LMS Code of Conduct Student Pledge.

Ch-Ch-Changes! Kept Caught Ya’ Tickets But Changed Tickets are 3-ply. oWhite copy oYellow copy oPink copy Tickets have value!

Ch-Ch-Changes! Kept Weekly drawings But Changed There is consistency with the drawings. Incentives increase in value through the month.

Ch-Ch-Changes! Kept Community Partnership with Mr. Martin Resnick of Martin’s West. But Changed Incentives are geared toward the middle school child. PBIS is woven in the criteria for incentives with Uncle Marty.
