Each craft within the Alstom Power Apprenticeship Program utilizes dedicated trainers with 20+ years of experience in the craft. Each Alstom Power apprenticeship lasts for 3 or 4 years, depending on craft. Apprentices are brought in as groups, or classes, with each class size usually being 4 or more apprentices of the same craft. Alstom Power Apprenticeship Program Each craft within the Alstom Power Apprenticeship Program directly relates to the work we do every day in our workshop facility. All college classes that are required for the program are taken at John Tyler Community College and are sponsored by Alstom Power.
