AECEN AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE  Twinning Grants Program  Best Practices Inventory via AECEN website Innovation in Assuring Environmental Compliance  Awarded to Member agency  Recognizes accomplishments in implementing initiatives that demonstrate innovation, leading to improved performance in agency programs  Nominations exemplify Regional Principles  Nominations demonstrate innovative strategies for overcoming technical, institutional, capacity or financial limitations to assuring compliance

AECEN AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE  Twinning Grants Program  Best Practices Inventory via AECEN website Nomination and Selection Process  In early 2008, AECEN Secretariat will solicit nominations from AECEN Members  Process coordinated through AECEN website – information about process, nomination forms, eligibility, judging criteria, and timing of the awards  Selection Committee of noted experts and former officials to review nominations and recommend awards in both categories
