Lectures and exercises Lectures: 9 15 – 12 Exercises: 13 – 16 Some teachers may shuffle lectures and exercises during the day. Written exam Feb 22 - bring computer, books and notes 4 hour written exam from 9:00-13:00 room 062 (i kælderen), building 208 Undervisning er på dansk, men undervisningsmateriale er fortrinsvis på engelsk.

The course We have many teachers at this course –Most group leaders (and others) from Department of Systems Biology will introduce you to the research work in their group. –Broader overview with emphasis on a few of techniques used. Systems Biology – what is it –Analysis of a variety of biological data with the aim of understanding entire biological systems. This as opposed to old school molecular biology where the focus was on one gene at a time. –Systems biology will often be based on high throughput data sets (microarrays, NGS, protein chips, mass spec etc.) and employs Bioinformatics methods as tools to gain the systemic understanding.
