What does it mean? *(HC) High School Credit. 8th graders are offered courses in coordinate algebra, foreign language and physical science. Upon successful completion of these courses, students earn high school credit. (DE) Dual Enrollment. Students in grades 11 th and 12 th grade are encouraged to enrolled in the Accel program. The Accel program is for students at eligible high schools that wish to take college level coursework for credit towards both high school and college graduation requirements. Eligible students must meet certain criteria. The program is offered during the fall, winter, and spring terms of the school year.

What if I only want Honor courses? Students are encouraged to take advantage of honor classes in any core or fine art area without being apart of the Elite Scholars program.

How does Elite Scholar benefit? In order to stay in line with the Ga. Hope Scholarship program, Arlington has created a new rigorous program to ensure our students will be prepared to receive the Ga. With dual credit enrollment, students can enter college with few course credits on his/her transcript – which means they may be able to graduate from college and enter graduate school or the work force more quickly. Learn in a Christian environment. At Point, our courses are taught by Christian faculty members who work to integrate faith and learning.
