Before we start reading Find out if students know this story Elicit where the story takes place? Where does the Darling family live? Check what students know about London. You can speak about families using the Darling family as an example. Children can use their family photos to present them. Pre-teach the needed vocabulary. Use pictures from the book as much as possible.

After-reading activities. London poster Materials: pictures or video clips of famous London sights; large sheets of paper; smaller sheets of paper; colored pens / pencils / paints; safety scissors; glue Ask students which city Peter and Tinker Bell visit in the book. Explain to students that they are going to make a poster about some of the famous sights in London. Ask the students which famous sight is in the book. Show the students some pictures or clips of the famous sights in London. Students then draw or paint pictures of some of the sights, then cut them out and stick them onto the larger sheet of paper to make a poster, then label pictures.
