Interpreting body languages in different cultures from head to toes

HEAD -N-Nodding the head -“-“ No ” in some parts of Greece, Bulgaria, and Turkey -Tossing the head backward -“ yes ” in Thailand （泰国 ) and India

Eye contact *Eye contacts -Encouraged in America, Canada, Europe -Rude in most Asian countries and in Africa

ARMS *Some cultures, like the Italians, use the arms freely. Others, like the Japanese, are more reserved.

Postures In America, the stander is usually superior to the sitter in position, age, or status. However, the situation is just the opposite in China. The seniors usually assume a sitting posture and are in a dominant position.

LEGS AND FEET *In Asia, do not point with your toes. *Sitting cross-legged, while common in North America and some European countries, is very impolite in other parts of the world.
