State Target 2: 12.9% must become proficient PCS RESULTS: 25.8 % became proficient in English!!! LEP subgroup AYP for EOGs/EOCs— We met AYP for ESL!!! Your teaching and teamwork made the difference!

How can I help my ELL? You can help by using the following in your classroom on a daily basis:  cues such as visuals, props, and body language  repetitions and pauses during speech  increased wait time; give the student time to formulate an answer  cooperative learning strategies  graphic organizers, pictures, charts, maps, time-lines, and diagrams Be creative!

ESL Services—A Team Effort! ESL Teachers (as scheduled in each school) ESL Coordinator W-APT or ACCESS Testing Data (Can-Do Descriptors) ESL Service Levels (flexible as needed)— Maximum—pull-out 3 or more days per week Moderate—pull-out or push-in 2-3 days per week Collaborative—push-in and help with assignments 1+ days Minimal—progress checks every two weeks—schedule help as needed Translation Services (as scheduled and upon request)
