Lyrical Analysis Utilize the lyrics offered below to analyze the song from Dragon Age: Inquisition. The night is long And the path is dark Look to the sky For one day soon The dawn will come   Bare your blade And raise it high Stand your ground Shadows fall And hope has fled Steel your heart The dawn will come   The night is long And the path is dark Look to the sky For one day soon The shepherd’s lost And his home is far Keep to the stars

Lyrical Analysis How many verses are in the song? Choose two lines which have a negative connotation. The first one has been done for you. Line 1: Shadows fall = Three syllables Line 2: Line 3: Line 4: Do you notice a pattern in the first verse regarding syllables? If so, what pattern do you see? What line is used repeatedly to show a positive connotation, or that there is indeed hope in their challenge? What verse seems to suggest that they rise up to the challenge?
