USAAWC 95-1 Chapter 1; Responsibilities of the aviation commander Chapter 2; Aviation Management LFA and rules described in FR 95-2 2-8. PASSENGER POLICY. Flights conducted under a program of instruction are prohibited from carrying passengers. Exceptions are students enrolled in a formal course of instruction, (SPs), (IPs), (IEs), maintenance test flight evaluators, nonrated crewmember instructors (FI), nonrated crewmember standardization instructors (SI), flight surgeons and flight surgeon students (MO). Commanders within the 110TH Aviation Brigade may approve other passengers on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with the provisions of AR 95-1, 3 Feb 06, paragraphs 3-12 and 3-13.

USAAWC 95-1 Chapter 3: Operations and Safety 3-2, b. Aircraft are issued in 5-hour blocks (AM, PM, N1, and N2) and are scheduled to be flown 3 hours. Flights of shorter duration will be noted on the DA Form 2408-12 (Army Aviator Flight Records) (IAW USAAVNC Poster 15 found in each aircraft logbook) 3-2, c. Request for flights outside the local area will be submitted to the DCAO, through the ATMB, on USAAWC FL 171-R, 3 to 5 working days prior to scheduled mission Synthetic flight training simulator (SFTS) periods will be scheduled directly with the Flight Sim. Branch Cancellations of SFTS periods will be by the flight crew to the Flight Simulation Branch NLT 24 hours prior to the scheduled period

USAAWC 95-1 Chap 4: Training ATP: Individual aviators will -- (1) Inprocess with the unit ATP coordinator within 14 calendar days of assignment to an operational flying position Turn in Individual Flight Records to the Flight Records Section, USAAWC G-3, located in room 210 of the Soldier Service Center within 14 days after arrival at Fort Rucker. Failure to turn in records may result in no accumulation of flight time and loss of flight time Fly at least one emergency procedures training period (l.5 hours) annually in their compatible flight simulator.

USAAWC 95-1 Chapter 5: Flight Procedures and Rules 5-1,a. aircraft operating in the Fort Rucker local flying area will carry the appropriate maps required to navigate the corridor structure to and from their assigned area of operations. These maps will identify authorized training routes and applicable noise avoidance areas. 5-1 Weather Requirements Rotary Wing SVFR: Daytime - Ceiling 300’ Visibility ½ mile Night/NVD – “ 500’ “ 1 mile Multi-aircraft SVFR: Daytime – Ceiling 300’ Visibility ½ mile Night/NVD – “ 700’ “ 1 mile
