6 99-11 UH-60 IPC ALTERNATE AIRFIELD PLANNING (CONTINUED) – THE PREDOMINANT WEATHER AT THE DESTINATION IS FORECAST AT ETA THROUGH 1 HOUR AFTER ETA TO BE LESS THAN CEILING 400 FEET ABOVE THE WEATHER PLANNING MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR THE APPROACH TO BE FLOWN VISIBILITY 1 MILE (OR METRIC EQUIV.) GREATER THAN THE PLANNING MINIMUM FOR THE APPROACH TO BE FLOWN. – AN ALTERNATE IS NOT REQUIRED IF DESCENT FROM EN ROUTE MINIMUM ALTITUDE FOR IFR OPERATION, APPROACH, AND LANDING CAN BE MADE IN VFR CONDITIONS

7 99-11 UH-60 IPC ALTERNATE AIRFIELD SELECTION l AN AIRFIELD MAY BE SELECTED AS AN ALTERNATE WHEN THE WORST WEATHER CONDITION FOR THAT AIRFIELD IS FORECAST FOR ETA THROUGH 1 HOUR AFTER ETA TO BE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN – VISIBILITY 1 MILE & CEILING 400 FEET ABOVE THE WEATHER PLANNING MINIMUM REQUIRED FOR THE APPROACH TO BE FLOWN OR – VFR MINIMUMS AND DESCENT FROM EN ROUTE MINIMUM ALTITUDE FOR IFR OPERATION CAN BE MADE IN VFR CONDITIONS.

9 99-11 UH-60 IPC DEPARTURE PROCEDURES l TAKEOFF MINIMUMS – THE AVIATOR FLYING THE AIRCRAFT ON TAKEOFF WHO HAS LOGGED AT LEAST 50 HOURS OF ACTUAL WEATHER TIME TIME PER DA FORM 759 * AS PC, UT, IP, SP, IE, MP, ME, XP OR PILOT HAS NO TAKEOFF MINIMUMS. SFTS TIME DOES NOT APPLY. – THE AVIATOR FLYING THE AIRCRAFT ON TAKE OFF WHO HAS NOT LOGGED AT LEAST 50 HOURS OF WEATHER TIME PER DA FROM 759 * AS PC, UT, IP, SP, IE, MP, ME, XP, OR PILOT MUST HAVE (HELICOPTER) CEILING 100 FEET AND EITHER VIS 1/4 MILE, RVR 1,200 FEET OR METRIC EQUIV... RVR MAY BE USED WHEN TAKEOFF IS MADE FROM THE RUNWAY FOR WHICH RVR IS REPORTED. *INDIVIDUAL FLIGHT RECORD AND FLIGHT CERTIFICATE - ARMY
