What we’ll look at… The ways that the AIM Center assists states in the development of systems for the distribution of AIM How states are developing and/or improving their systems for the distribution of AIM

We’ll look at the ways that the NCAIM assists states in the development of systems for the distribution of AIM.

Formative and Summative Evaluation Formative evaluation activities will describe the process by which project activities were conducted. To measure the alignment of activities to goals To determine what changes need to be made to ensure that activities are producing expected outcomes Summative evaluation activities will measure the outcomes and impact of project activities..

Formative Questions – Process Did proposed activities and undertakings take place as planned? How did participants perceive the merit and worth of activity? What challenges occurred during implementation? What steps were taken to address challenges and lower barriers? How were activities refined and strengthened to best serve constituents and stakeholders?

Summative Questions – Impact and Outcomes Did the NCAIM provide Technical Assistance and Dissemination to support the development of expertise and capacity of state education agencies (SEAs) and local education agencies (LEAs) to develop effective distribution systems for AIM?

Summative Questions – Impact and Outcomes Did the NCAIM facilitate the collaborative Knowledge Development necessary to ensure planning and implementation of efficient and effective distribution systems for AIM?

Summative Questions – Impact and Outcomes Did NCAIM demonstrate the leadership and coordination required to engage both accessible instructional materials stakeholders and OSEP-funded projects in ensuring high-quality AIM Center products and services? Did stakeholders report Center activities to be of relevant, useful, and of high-quality?

We’ll look at how states are developing and/or changing their systems for the distribution of AIM over time.
