How To Look at THE BOOK

 All  Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. (v. 2)

 Bank  I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. (v. 11)  I’ve banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won’t sin myself bankrupt (v. 11 – “The Message”).

 Good  Do good to your servant, and I will live; I will obey your word. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law (vv ).

 Deceit  Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me through your law. (v. 29)

 He  Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. (v. 36)

 Walk in Freedom  I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. (v. 45)

 Zigzag  I remember your ancient laws, O Lord, and I find comfort in them. (v. 52)

 Choice  You, Lord, are my choice, and I will obey you. (v. 57 – Contemporary English Version)

 Teach  Teach me knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in your commands. … You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees.” (vv. 66, 68)

 Your  May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant. (v. 76)

 Keep Going  My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word. My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, “When will you comfort me?” (vv )

 Limitless  To all perfection I see a limit; but your commands are boundless. (v. 96)

 Meditate  Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. (vv. 97, 99)

 Nightlight  Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (v. 105)

 Stand in Awe  My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws. (v. 120)

 Action  It is time for you to act, O Lord; your law is being broken. (v. 126)

 Passion  Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed. (v. 136)

 Trustworthy  The statutes you have laid down are righteous; they are fully trustworthy. (v. 138)

 Call and Cry  I call with all my heart; answer me, O Lord, and I will obey your decrees. I call out to you; save me and I will keep your statutes. I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in your word. My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises (vv ).

 Righteous  All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. (v. 160)

 Saturate  I wait for your salvation, O Lord, and I follow your commands. I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly. I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you. (vv )

 Talk  May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous. (vv )
