Questions-Population Graph 1. The US has the largest column on the graph. This country has the highest amount because the US has almost $50,000 in GDP per capita. So the country can afford to have a lot of people. 2. Belize has the smallest column. Belize has a GDP per capita of $8,200, so the country cannot afford to have a lot of people 3. The 5 th ranked country is Syria. The 6 th ranked country is Australia. Australia is a developed country and Syria is a developing country. Syria is 5 th because the land in Syria is fully filled up with people even though they are mostly poor people. In Australia, only parts of the land are filled up with people but most of them are not in poverty. 4. The 7 th ranked country is Haiti, Haiti is a developing country. The 8 th ranked county is Fiji, Fiji is a developing country. To get to the top half of the rankings Haiti and Fiji need to create good working jobs with a steady income so the people that live there are receiving money on a daily basis. 5. The UK stands out in the rankings to me. The UK has a high GDP per capita, but only has a small amount of people. But the UK is a country that has lots of money, so they have impact on world consumption.

Literacy Rate-Questions 1. The countries with the largest columns are the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. These countries have high amounts because they are all developed countries that have GDP rates, so they can afford to buy books and teach people to read. 2. The country with the smallest column is Haiti. This country has a small amount because Haiti is a developing country with low GDP rates. Haiti does not have enough money to spend on books and teaching people to read. 3. The 5 th ranked country is Belize and the 6 th ranked country is Haiti. They are both developing countries. They are there because both countries are still developing and have no money to spend on literature. 4. I have no 7 th and 8 th ranked countries on my graph. But in order to get them on the top half of the rankings, the government of the countries should make people go around and teach people how to read for free. As the country start to develop more, than maybe the teacher should start charging money. 5. A country that stands out on the charts to me is Fiji. Fiji is a small, developing country but they have a literacy rate of 93.7%. Fiji does not have very high GDP rates so someone might be teaching people to read and write for free. But Fiji still does not have a very big impact on world consumption.

Physician Density-Questions 1. The country with the biggest column is Australia. I think this country is there because Australia is a developed country with high GDP rates so they can afford to put people through medical school. 2. The country with the smallest column is Haiti. This country has a low amount because there is not enough money to put people through medical school because GDP rates are so low. 3. The 5 th ranked country is Syria, Syria is a developing country. The 6 th ranked country is Canada, is a developed country. I think Syria is 5 th because they have enough money to put people through medical school, even though GDP rates are low. Canada is 6 th, since the population is lower they do not need as many doctors and physicians. But Canada can afford to have more doctors since they have good GDP rates. 4. The 7 th ranked country is Belize, it is a developing country. The 8 th ranked country is Fiji, it is a developing country. They do not have as many doctors because their GDP rates are low so they cannot afford to have as many. 5. A country that stood out to me on the graph is Mexico. Mexico is a developing country and but they have good GDP rates so they can afford to have doctors. Mexico does have impact on world consumption.
