3 Population 1.Q: What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? A: The United States has the largest column on my graph. I think that the reason this country has the largest population is because the US has a lot of money a large GDP per capita. This country also has around $50,000 for GDP per capita. 2. Q: What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? A: Lithuania is the country that has the smallest column. I think that this country has a small population because it is a poor country. After being taken out of Russia and put in the east side of Europe people started moving away because they didn’t like that. 3.Q: Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. A: On my graph the 5 th ranked country is Spain. This country is a Developed country. I think that this country is where it is in the ranking because they have around 50,000,000 people which is more than the developing countries. 4.Q: Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. A: The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are Haiti and Australia. Haiti is a developing country. In order to get to the top of the rankings it needs to have a larger GDP per capita and a larger population. If there were to be a larger population they would earn more money and could pay for doctors and such. The other ranking is Australia. This country is developed. I think that it is a developed country because the population is larger than most of the developing countries. With them having a larger population its easier for them to make more money. 5.Q: Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. A: Another country that stands out is Canada. I feel that Canada stands out because it doesn't have a large population but it’s still a developed country. Most places with small populations aren't developed because they don’t have the doctors or computers that they need.

5 Physician Density 1.Q: What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? A: The country that has the largest column is Spain. This country has a lot of doctors I think because they have a high GDP rate and large population. 2. Q: What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? A: Togo and Haiti have the lowest column. I think that’s because they have a small population. Another reason is that they have a low GDP per capita and they don’t make a lot of money. 3.Q: Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. A: Australia
