Problem #1: The teacher is using visual aids and the students are listening, but they still can’t understand.

Teacher: “Okay students, which is correct? A or B?” A: “Precious along with her friends is going to the store.” B: “Precious along with her friends are going to the store.” Problem #1:Visual aids not enough

Teacher writes on the board… Inserted phrases like “along with” or “as well as” do not change the subject-verb agreement from singular to plural!!! Problem #1:Visual aids not enough
