Beam Loss Monitors for Collimators Before LS1, 310 monitors were installed 155 ICs 97 were connected to BIS 152 SEMs 3 LICs Monitors were placed in 47 families 26 IC, 18 SEM and 3 LIC 49 ICs and 49 SEMs on empty slots For SEMs and LICs the thresholds were set to maximum, none were connected to BIS
