Increasing the role of decision makers to decrease early school leaving

O There are many reasons – often highly individual – why some young people give up education and training prematurely: learning difficulties, social problems or a lack of motivation, guidance or support.

O Through the project, we are proposing:

O - to promote a new approach of the problem of early school leaving. O - to encourage children to come to school. O - to get their families to realize the importance of having an education O - to create an inclusive school and community for all citizens

O - to create awareness for decision makers (Parents, teachers, managers etc.) on early school leaving O - to increase in active parental involvement to the education process, O - to inform parents and community on the importance of education,

O - to apply peer education to increase social interaction, cooperation and information sharing between students, to change negative behaviours and attitudes of students, O - to increase motivation of the students to participate in school education by means of games, competitions, theatres,movie days, workshops

O - to foster communication and friendship between students to prevent exclusion and to break prejudices, O - to continue awareness of all community by means of dissemination (web page, flyers, posters, records, billboards, brochures,video records,DVDs, local and school media)
