Our Survey Said Teacher Would: Have a plan for each student Monitor closely how each student was doing Intervene where appropriate to help each student Re-plan lessons to meet the true needs of the student

A Teaching Utopia? Most teachers recognize this is an ideal It is impossible with regular class sizes Why? –Because the workload is too much

Your Helping Hand MathAmigo Manager is a tool that will help you achieve the ideal MathAmigo philosophy is that the teacher is at the heart of the process One purpose of technology is to support the teacher - Save you time - Give you time to teach

Saving Time It helps organize students into –Classes –Groups with similar teaching needs Plan lessons to meet class and group needs This includes –Organizing activities to meet these needs –Making sure the work met the standards Assess students performance –Highlighting strengths and weaknesses of their performance –Produce reports for stakeholders e.g. Students/Parents Create improvement plans designed to help the student raise their performance
