8 April Set System Options Allows you to set certain standard Doors operating parameters and enable certain Doors features
8 April Opening the Setup > System Window Open the Setup > System Window by either: –Tool bar button –Pull-down menu option

8 April System Options There are 12 system options from which to choose
8 April Saving an Option Change Whenever any option change is made it must be saved or it is lost when the option window is closed –A pop-up window appears when an option’s status is changed –Click the Save Now button to save the change
8 April Sites Mode Sites Mode allows you to manage multiple sites at the same time –Up to 255 max Sites Mode operation is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Sites Mode Click the Sites ON check box to Enable Sites Mode A new Sites tab is added to the window once enabled
8 April Badging Badging is a fee-based feature that allows you to manage photo ID badges Badging is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Badging Click the Badging ON check box to Enable Badging For proper operation you must call Keri Inside Sales with your Badging PC ID to receive a License Code
8 April Entraguard Telephone Entry Entraguard allows you to manage Keri telephone entry controllers and user ID numbers Telephone Entry is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Entraguard Click the EntraGuard ON check box to enable telephone entry
8 April Network Master Parameters Network master parameters are applied to all controllers on the access control network
8 April Daylight Savings Time Adjustment Allows automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustments at controllers (per U.S. standards only) 1 st Sunday in April Last Sunday in October
8 April Enable Daylight Savings Time Adjustments Click the Daylight Savings check box to allow automatic Daylight Savings Time adjustment (this is the default value)
8 April Enable Global Unlock Input Click the Global Unlock check box to allow all doors to be unlocked by activating a specific input on the master controller
8 April Enable Global Secure Time Enter a Global Secure time, a specific time at which all doors manually unlocked doors will automatically be locked
8 April Local Anti-passback Anti-passback prevents someone from accessing a secure door and then passing his/her card back to someone else to use This is done by implementing rules on how often cards can be presented to readers Telephone Entry is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Local Anti-passback Click the APB ON check box to enable anti-passback
8 April Door Type Allows doors to be designated as either Elevator doors or Gates –Changes the icon for these doors displayed in the Doors program –Makes cardholder tracking and report reading easier by adding elevator or gate designators when identifying these doors in reports Enabling door type allows the feature to be used, but the actual door type assignment occurs in the Setup > Doors menu screen

8 April User Data File Export/Import Export/Import is a fee-based feature that allows you to export and import the user data file Export/Import must be used with caution - Improper file handling can corrupt the user database Export/Import is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable User Data File Export/Import Click the Export/Import ON check box to Enable Export/Import For proper operation you must call Keri Inside Sales with your Export/Import PC ID to receive a License Code
8 April Rollcall/Tracking Enables features for locating users in secured areas –Rollcall identifies who has entered secured areas –Track identifies the path taken by a specific person
8 April Enable Rollcall/Tracking Click the Rollcall/Track ON check box to enable the export/import feature
8 April Card+PIN (P-650) Enables the P-650 Pyramid Associates Reader and Keypad Card+PIN feature, allowing access by card presentation and PIN entry
8 April Enable Card+PIN (P-650) Click the Card+PIN (P-650) ON check box to enable the Card+PIN feature
8 April Card+PIN (P-650) Limitations The Card+PIN (P-650) feature has certain limitations that you must acknowledge by clicking on the OK button before Card+PIN (P-650) becomes active
8 April Alarm Control Alarm Control enables access control system integration with NetworX NX-8E alarm panels Alarm Control is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Alarm Control Click the Alarm Control ON check box to enable Alarm Control
8 April Temp Cards The Temp Cards feature allows you to assign cards that are active and valid for finite periods of time (days, weeks, months) and then automatically expire Temp Cards is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Temp Cards Click the Temp Cards ON check box to enable the Temp Cards feature
8 April Temp Cards Warning The Temp Cards feature reduces the total number of cardholders the system can have – you must acknowledge by clicking on the OK button before Temp Cards becomes active
8 April Dual Verification The Dual Verification feature allows you to require one or more credentials to enter a secure area Dual Verification is described in detail in its own training module
8 April Enable Dual Verification Click the Dual Verification ON check box to enable the Dual Verification feature
8 April Dual Verification Warning Certain minimum requirements must be met in order for the Dual Verification feature to function properly. A warning appears with an alert to the requirements – you must acknowledge this by clicking on the Save Now button before Dual Verification becomes active
8 April Excessive PIN Attempts Allows a user 6 attempts to correctly present the credentials required for entry before being locked out for a specified amount of time Excessive PIN Attempts is described in detail in the Dual Verification training module
8 April Enable Excessive PIN Attempts Click the Excessive PIN Attempts ON check box to enable the Excessive PIN Attempts feature Enter the Lock Out Time (in seconds) the reader should be locked out following 6 failed attempts to enter correct credentials
