ELSM Evaluation and grading at school some aspects of the National Core Curriculum

ELSM Task of assessment to guide and encourage how well the pupil has met the objectives to help the pupil to form a realistic image of his or her learning and development students should be encouraged and taught for self-assessment.

ELSM Principles of assessment truthful based on the description of good performance (8) the description of good performance and the final evalutation’s criteria specify the knowledge and skill levels that constitute the basis of pupil assessment pupil’s progress, work skills, and behaviour are assessed in relation to the curriculum’s goals and descriptions of good performance

numerical or verbal parents or other guardian has to be informed teachers have to give regular feedback about pupils’ work – different methods should be used the grounds of assessment have to be informed - (often at parents evenings, on school net pages) based on a diversity of evidence ELSM

Ways of evaluation/assessment subjects and behaviour are evaluated –numerically –by verbal summaries –or a combination of the two when using verbal assessment, the school year report is to state whether the pupil has met the objectvies acceptably grades in core subjects latest by the eight school year

ELSM In addition to school year reports the pupil parents or the guardian assessment feedback adequately and in a diverse manner –pupil’s progress and strengths –areas of learning that need improvement intermediate reports, different types of notices, assessment discussions, etc.

Next grade the pupil is promoted to the next grade if she or she acceptably completes all studies in the different subjects also if they are judged to be able to cope with the next year’s studies acceptably a pupil may be retained – failing performance –possibility to demonstrate his/her skills a pupil may be retained for other reasons – parents/guardian has to be heard
