 Develop an engaging voice and tone by using a conversational style and inclusive language  Create a supportive, open, and respectful learning environment  Foster peer-to-peer collaboration  Bring out multiple perspectives  Summarize and synthesize main points

 Be present often in the beginning of a course in order for learners to understand the course layout  Help learners resolve technical difficulties and provide steady guidance and encouragement  Point to FAQs and support contact information early in the course to promote learner independence and build their confidence
