W AY TO G O MIDDLE S CHOOL … Named Title 1 Reward School in both Highest Progress and Highest Achievement! TCMS was 1 of only 2 schools in the State to receive Both Awards!!

W AY TO G O MIDDLE S CHOOL … Dr. Connie Hobbs was named MS Teacher of the Year AND System Teacher of the Year!! The 4 th Annual Spelling Bee was Won by the Middle School. Robotics won the Robot Performance Award and Qualified for the State Competition. TCMS had a student qualify for the Georgia Council for Social Studies (GCSS) for the second year in a row.

W AY TO G O MIDDLE S CHOOL … 2014 CRCT Pass Rate – 7 th grade Social Studies is #1 in the STATE! 8 th grade Social Studies is #1 in the STATE! 7 th grade ELA, 7 th grade Social Studies, and 8 th grade Georgia History are All #1 in RESA! 7 th grade Science and 8 th grade ELA are Both #2 in RESA! 6 th grade Science, 6 th grade Social Studies, 7 th grade Reading, 7 th grade Math and 8 th grade Math are All #3 in RESA!

W AY TO G O HIGH S CHOOL … 100% of Juniors passed the Georgia High School Writing Test! 75% of HS Seniors applied to Colleges or Universities during the TC Apply to College Day! TCHS Class of 2014 received over $500,000 in Scholarship Awards! TCHS Awarded 30 Dual Enrollment / College Credits. 38 Students earned Work Based Learning Credits.

W AY TO G O HIGH S CHOOL … 2014 EOCT for RESA: 1 st place – 9 th Grade Literature & American Lit 2 nd place – Coordinate Algebra, Biology, US History and Economics. Increased pass rates in 9 th grade Literature, American Lit, Coordinate Algebra, US History, Economics and Biology. Out of 180 Systems: TCHS has Pass rate of: 6 th highest for 9 th Grade Lit 10 th highest for US History 10 th highest for American Lit 15 th highest for Biology 17 th highest for Coordinate Algebra 22 nd highest for Economics 34 th highest for Analytic Geometry 38 th highest for Physical Science

W AY TO G O HIGH S CHOOL … FBLA had 4 National Winners and 12 State Winners! HOSA had 1 National Winner and 4 State Winners! FFA had students place top 10 in numerous CDE competitions, won speaking competitions at the State level, and were National Finalists in speaking and livestock showings.

W AY TO G O HIGH S CHOOL … Mrs. Lynn Swanson was named Teacher of the Year! (Best Wishes on her retirement!) 33 business students received Georgia Best Certification through the Dept. of Labor’s Student Soft Skill & Ethical Training Program. FBLA received Superior, Gold Seal and Outstanding Chapter Awards! EOPA students received National Certification in their pathways.

W AY TO G O S PECIAL E DUCATION … Scored 20 out of 20 possible points for DOE Indicators for Compliance! Pre-school SWD met All Performance Targets for development of social/emotional, communication, and adaptive skills prior to exit age. SWD in 9 th Grade Literature & Composition, American Lit & Composition, and US History met EOCT subgroup target And performance target!

W AY TO G O S PECIAL E DUCATION … 100% of SWD met All Graduation Requirements! SWD received 100% mastery on CRCT in 4 th grade Reading! SWD received 100% mastery on CRCT in 7 th grade Reading, ELA and Social Studies! SWD received 100% mastery on CRCT in 8 th grade Reading, ELA and Math! SWD in 7 th grade met subgroup performance targets in 5 out of 5 areas!!

W AY TO G O INDIANS… Elementary: 10 and Under Boys Baseball go to State! 8 and Under Girls Basketball go to State! Middle School: Wrestling finished 3 rd at Tiger Invitational and 3 rd at King of the Mountain Tournament! Girls Cross Country Won the 2013 Regional Championship!

W AY TO G O INDIANS… High School: Boys Cross Country advance to State! Girls Cross Country State Champs back to back! Girls Basketball Elite 8 finish! Girls Soccer advances to State tournament! Football had 2 nd most winning season in school history! Boys Golf had a State Qualifier! Ladies Golf Team finished 2 nd in State!! Wrestling had most State Qualifiers & highest team finish in school history! Wrestling had a 3 rd, 4 th, & 6 th place winner in State tournament, and finished 10 th in State!

W AY TO G O TC STAFF… Once again, our Custodial Team did our Floor Waxing “IN HOUSE” and did a Fantastic Job! Our Maintenance Team did our Landscape and Lawn Care Service “IN HOUSE” again, and the grounds not only look outstanding, but they are clean & safe!

W AY TO G O TC STAFF… Our Nutrition Staff did a great job! Thanks to our Maintenance Staff, we made it through one of the worst winters in recent history with very few problems! Our Bus Drivers transported our “Precious Cargo” in Sunshine & in Snow, and did a fantastic job in both!  Our Central Office was the recipient of the Award of Distinction for Excellent Financial Reporting.
