Pay It Forward iYUpm4

The Theory In the film the little boy decides to change the world like this. He decides to help 3 people do something which they couldn’t do on their own. Each of those 3 people would then help 3 other people. And so on and so on…

But Who? And How? The one thing that charities, acts of charity and charitable people have in common is that they all aim to help people change and improve their lives

International charities – Oxfam UK charities – British Heart Foundation Local Charities – Brian House Charity Events – Comic Relief Charitable Acts – helping an elderly neighbour They all need either donations, contributions, support, your time…or all of them

But how do you choose? Empathy – putting yourself in someone (or something else’s) position How would you feel if you were them, in that situation? What would be supportive? It’s not all about the money. Time, care, kindness. And we can all give that if we want to.

Random Acts of Kindness It is better to give than to receive Well, is it?

Think of a time when you helped someone or did something generous or made someone feel better…just because you could. I think you will have felt a better person for doing that. If you’re not sure, have a go again What’s in it for you?

A little effort from you could make a lot of difference somewhere else. A bit more of an effort could do even more. And if everybody did it…

The world would be a better and happier place. v=Qc8ZbVcdHpg

10p Choice Leave it where it is Take it with you Put it in the jar and I will give it to someone who needs it

But think about this – whatever you choose to do, you have made a choice. Make sure you are always aware of the choices you have made and the actions you have taken. And make sure that you are proud of the choices you have made.

Thanks
