Education In June 1948, he graduated with honors from Morehouse College. In 1955, he received his Ph.D. from Boston University.
Accomplishments He was valedictorian and he won the Pearl Plafker Award for most outstanding student. He led the Montgomery Bus Boycott. He helped start the Civil Rights Movement.
Death Martin Luther King,Jr. died in 1968 Memphis, Tennessee.
