 Armored Vehicle  Automatic Igniting Device  Soldier Jumping Device

 Realism vs. cartoonish and flat.  Sfumato – disappearing or vanishing  Chiaroscuro – soft or foggy.

 Leonardo worked in hospitals in Milan, Rome and Florence.  Dissections  Observations  200 drawings contributed to Treatise on Painting

 Leonardo hadn’t invented…  the armored vehicle? No tank which is a great war device because it allows one side to get near the opposing side and still defend themselves.

 Leonardo hadn’t invented the…  Automatic Igniting device? No automatic firearms.

 Leonardo hadn’t invented…  The soldier’s jumping device? No parachute to be used as a war device or recreation.

 Leonardo hadn’t painted using…  Realism  Sfumato  Chiaroscuro We would still have boring, flat Paintings in which the faces look Cartoonish.

 Leonardo hadn’t conducted scientific experiments beyond his time?  We wouldn’t have some of the basic knowledge that we do about muscles, tendons, organs, bones, and the human body in general.
