Global Teenager Project Theme: Education in the 21 st century

Children with disabilities in the past centuries were denied right to education in most parts of the world. What step has your government taken to improve on education for children with disabilities in the 21 st century?

Why did we ask the question? We wanted to know how children with disabilities from different parts of the world are being catered.

What did we know about the theme when we started? We knew that the theme was within Education in the 21 st century. We also knew that education in the 21 st century was going to be much more better than education before since it involves the use of technology.

What did we expect to learn? We expected to learn the following:- There are different schools for children with disabilities. There are special teachers being trained to handle children with disabilities There is also law being put in place by the government to protect children with disabilities.

What did we learn in our classroom? We learnt how to introduce ourselves, formulate questions, post answers and how to make summary to the wiki.

What did we learn from the responses of the students? We learnt that: There are different schools for children with disabilities in both Uganda and Netherlands. In both countries the government has put more effort in children right by setting up a law that protects them.

What were the differences in the different countries? According to our finding we found that there were no differences but rather similarities, this is because most of the classes were giving the same answers such as: Special schools for children with disabilities. Laws that protect all children including those with disabilities.
