-To develop knowledge about world hunger; -To become conscious of the everyday life of a child from a developing country; -To explore which parts of the world have a problem with hunger; - To propose solutions to the problem of wold hunger.

1. Students receive a real letter from Sarah who lives in Uganda Dear Students, I am Sarah from a very poor country, Uganda. I have 5 brothers who walk in the field. My dad died when I was 3 years old. We all live in very poor conditions and do not have any water as well. I am asking for your help! Love, Sarah

2. Teacher reads the letter in the classroom and discuss about what theey can do to help Sarah: - Find information about the country; - Students have to make suggestions; - Write na answer to Sarah; - Search for organizations that help people.
