 A chef is someone in charge of preparation, seasoning, salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or any other kind of food. And also supervises and helps cook and prepare foods.

 You are able to get training in school vocational programs, two year colleges or four year college programs. Chefs and cooks also may be trained in apprenticeship programs offered by professional culinary institutes, industry associations, and trade unions.

 The best place to be a chef is in Denver, CO. Denver is top pick for culinary jobs, with a great local foods scene and a culture focusing on health and fitness, residents comes here to enjoy the good life.

 There are many chef jobs out there because of the high demand for food. There are many restaurants out there that need a chef or restaurants are being built everyday.

 It is unknown because there is so many in the world. But think of all the restaurants you have been to and then just think that’s a lot. Now think how many are in the whole world.

 $35,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on training, experience and talent. According to the US dept of Labor the average is $32,650 for a head chef. So it depends how much education and were you work

 Another job that would associate with a chef may be a caterer, pastry chef, baker, and many more there are many jobs out there that involves in cooking.

 Chef is only one career in the career cluster of hospitality and tourism. Hospitality and Tourism is the management, marketing and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel related services.

     
