Introduction This Slide Show will teach you all about Space and how it works.

Facts About Space Space is a place with no air. If you are away from the sun it is not too bright. If you are close to the sun it is not too dark. Space never ends. No person ever found the top of space.

More Facts About Space Did you know that space could be hot and cold? Well… it is very rare to go to space but at least you get to see space pictures like the ones on this Slide Show.

Quick Things You Might Want To Know About Space Sometimes it is boiling hot in space (depends on if you are close to the sun or not) and sometimes it is freezing cold in space (if you are far away from the sun.) There are black holes in space. There is no air in space.

Earth Earth is the only planet in the universe that has Living things (air, plants, animals and people.) Earth is made of all kind of different rocks. Earth is the third closest planet from the sun. Earth is the fifth largest planet in our Solar System. There is air on Earth.

Saturn Saturn is a planet like all other planets. But, Saturn is not made of rock but is made of gas. Saturn has a big ring around it. If you look at this picture, you will see Saturn and it’s big rings around it. Galileo Galilei was the first person to see Saturn’s rings. Galileo Galilei People believed that a moon crashed around Saturn and that’s why it has those rings around it.

Moon The moon is made of rock and in real life it is grey. The moon is billions of years old and was created before people existed.

Jupiter Jupiter has all kinds of warm colors. Warm colors are: red, orange and light brown. Jupiter the planet is the fifth planet from the sun. Jupiter is the biggest planet in the Solar System.

Pluto (Not A Planet Anymore) Pluto used to be a planet, but is not a planet anymore. Pluto used to be a planet but was the smallest planet of all. Plus, people said it should not be a planet anymore. Pluto rotates in an oval. Nobody is really sure if a meteoroid hit it or not but there is a reason why Pluto rotates in an oval.

Mercury Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and is boiling hot on Mercury. If you put anything that we have on Earth it is going to melt.

Venus Venus the planet, is the second planet from the sun. Venus is the sixth largest planet in the Solar System.

Mars Mars is the fourth closest planet to the sun. Mars is the seventh biggest planet in the Solar System.

Uranus Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun. Uranus is the third biggest planet in the Solar System. There are 11 rings around Uranus.

Neptune Neptune is the fourth largest planet in our Solar System. Neptune is the eight planet from the sun. Neptune is blue if you look at this picture.

Sun The sun is not a planet, but it is very hot. If you were to threw something in the sun, it would melt. The sun is very hot. It is hotter than a stove!
