“I remember what a meet and greet is” Meet and Greet Each student is a character involved directly or indirectly in the strike (10 characters) Most are real people, but some are generic (if you have a real name, you are real) Students walk around sharing their character’s perspective and hearing other perspectives Your goal is to figure out what the different perspectives are and how all the characters are related

“I can work with my group to become an expert on my character” Group up 1.Write down your number when I call it 2.Move to sit in your numbered location To help make your learning successful Get off to a quick start Support each other Ask questions (with a raised hand) Stick to your group

“I can practice playing my character in my small group” “Be” your character Take turns ‘being’ your character while other group members ask you questions Use the role for support, but try not to read it Improvise and be creative as long as you stay true to your character’s perspective Questions to ask: Who are you? What organizations are you in? What do you think about the General Strike? What are your larger economic beliefs? What other characters are you connected to? How would you like the strike to be resolved?
