Historical background Some people say it was 102 minutes that changed America forever and the worse tragic thing ever happened. Horror as terrorists flew hijacked passenger planes into New York City's mighty twin towers, killing more than 2,700 people. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11.

Summary..! This Speech is to Inform readers and America about the attack of 911 of the horrible attack of the world trade center and pentagon. George W. Bush's point of view to get across that everything will be okay and even though thousands of people have been died that our country is still strong and powerful to move from this tragic attack

My Reaction to 911 In my opinion President Bush’s speech is effective it’s stayed around for so long. His moving words “Tonight we are a country awakened to danger and called to defend freedom”. Basically saying that were still a strong country and can get threw this horrible attack. I do support his point of view on this Just trying to get the World’s attention.

My thoughts.. My thoughts on this topic is that who would do something like that to innocent people? All the family members who lost loved ones, what they have to go through each day. I’d like to get the audience to just realize that it wasn’t a joke it’s real life.
