2. The Tragedy That Struck America On September 11, 2001 a group of terrorist called al- Qaeda (Al Kay-Da) purposely crashed four hijacked planes. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. One plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington,DC. The last plane crashed into Somerset Country, Pennsylvania.

3. After The Planes Hit At 10:05 am the South tower collapsed. Then at 10:28 the North tower collapsed. This caused chaos in the streets of New York City. There was lots of smoke and debris. Some people just started to run while a few just stood there and filmed.

4. al-Qaeda The terrorist group was called al-Qaeda.There leader was Osama Ben Ladin.Their was a total of 19 terrorists. They were spread out between the four planes.

5. Tragedy The total amount of people killed through the attacks including hijackers were 2,996. Thousands of people were missing. There were missing people posters everywhere.

6. My Visit To The Memorial Last year, I visited the 9-11- 001 memorial on my trip to New York. It was a breathtaking experience. It was very sad to see all the names of the people who had died.
