Agenda Overview Explore Flickr photo sets Discuss in content-specific groups Jigsaw out to multiple content groups Whole group discussion and closure Use your graphic organizers from last workshop!

Flickr Photo Sets Go to Notice the various content area photo sets on the side of the screen Click on photo sets that are relevant to your content area and view the photos Get into groups according to your content area

Group Discussion Questions Which images could you see yourself using in the classroom with Trisha Long’s Full Circling process? Choose one image and, as a group, develop a plan for using that photo across a unit of instruction Describe photo introduction Describe photo use in mid-unit Describe photo closure Chose one or two images that you believe could be used across multiple content areas

Group Discussion Questions Pull up Flickr and go around and briefly describe the photo that your group picked for your unit development and summarize your ideas As a group discuss the images that each of you highlighted in your photo sets that could be used across content areas Could two different teachers use the same photo? What could we teach students about literacy if they came across the same image in two different classes?
