Multimedia Authoring1 This is a subject about the development of small IT applications involving multiple digital media to improve the communication of: Information Concepts Ideas Feelings An atmosphere Purchasing opportunities Etc.

Multimedia Authoring2 Learning Objectives: Describe the key features of the hardware and software that enables small multimedia applications Justify the selection of appropriate data representation, file type and data storage requirements for a small multimedia application. Demonstrate knowledge about multimedia design considerations including usability. Identify and discuss the implications of the legal and ethical issues associated with a small multimedia application. Develop small multimedia applications that involve digital movies, images, text, sound and animations, and that meet a user’s requirements, and address pertinent ethical and legal issues. Develop and apply the self-learning skills necessary to become proficient in the software applications used to develop multimedia applications
