UK TRADE AND INVESTMENT SUPPLY CHAIN ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME

OBJECTIVES Support UK companies to gain early access to high value opportunities Facilitate sustainable partnerships with local companies in compliance with local content policies Create a long term export market presence with access to an ongoing ‘pipeline’ of project market opportunities Turning Local Content into a Growth Business Opportunity

124 Kazakhstan companies introduced to 145 UK companies that are able to contribute relevant technologies, capabilities and experience 55+ new partnerships in progress; (MOUs, cooperation agreements, subcontracts, franchises, new investments) Potential new business capture by the new partnerships assessed at over; US$ 4.2 billion (2012 – 2022) Business Development Effort estimated cost saving to Kazakhstan and UK companies finding partners through the engagement programme US$1 million KAZAKHSTAN UK SUPPLY CHAIN ENGAGEMENT
