A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse who has received special training and perform many of the duties of physicians What are they?

What do they do? Nurse Practitioners do many things such as: Record Patients medical information Do physical exams Prescribe medicine Process, analyze, and evaluate information provided by patients. Write and manage care plans for patients

Schedule work of staff Possibly deliver babies Perform and interpret laboratory test Make decisions and solve problems Develop health programs Counsel people about family planning and mental illness Teach public about health education, child care, nutrition What do they do?
