Vibrational & Energy Medicine Margie M. Mulligan, Ph.D. What You Will, LLC & Energetic Healing, LLC engyheal@earthlink.net www.heal-with-energy.com

Purpose of 2nd Tele-Seminar How does the energy get from someone’s hands to the body part that “hurts”? Explain 3 different views of how vibrational and energy medicine work in the human system Provide a range of explanations for what is included from top experts: Richard Gerber, the author of Vibrational Medicine Donna Eden, the co-author of Energy Medicine (with husband David Feinstein) James Oschmann, the author of Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis Answer Questions

What is Vibrational Medicine? According to Richard Gerber, MD, Vibrational Medicine, “Instead of conventional drug and surgical approaches, vibrational medicine attempts to treat people with pure energy. …the molecular arrangement of the physical body is actually a complex network of interwoven energy fields. The energetic network…is organized and nourished by “subtle” energetic systems which coordinate the life-force within the body. There is a hierarchy of subtle energetic systems that coordinate electrophysiologic and hormonal function as well as cellular structure within the physical body. It is primarily from these subtle levels that health and illness originate.” (p. 43)

How Vibrational Med works… (according to Richard Gerber, MD) The human energy system is composed of systems that decrease in density or vibration starting with the: Spiritual or causal body Mental body Astral or emotional body Etheric body Physical body The physical body is the end result of the higher vibration bodies and demonstrates dis-ease or health depending on their state, Vibrational medicine healers create a magnetoelectric field, or life force energy, that feeds into one or more of the bodies in the multidimensional energy system to move it in the direction of good health.

How Vibrational Med works… (according to Richard Gerber, MD) Etheric body contains the chakras that feed all the organ system and other cells in the physical body, sending the energy through the meridians (transportation method) Provides the holographic energy template that acts as a blueprint to guide cellular growth of the physical body, spatial placement of the limbs and organs for the fetus and cellular repair of the adult body, Works together with the RNA (copy) and DNA of cellular genetics to manage the duplication of new proteins Moves subtle energetic information between etheric and physical body just as chemicals and nerve impulses create communication in body

How Vibrational Med works… (according to Richard Gerber, MD) Astral or emotional body is a higher vibration energy system and surrounds and interpenetrates both etheric and physical bodies According to esoteric literature, it is “the seat of sensual appetites and desires, longings, moods, feelings, appetites and fears.” Is the seat of the emotions and the subtle energy connection to the health of the physical body, The chakras in this body transmit and receive energy between the etheric and physical bodies, The emotional thought forms of the astral body feed into the limbic within the brain and its neural activity. This all has impact on the personality. Physical, etheric and astral/emotional bodies have been scientifically validated by research findings.

How Vibrational Med works… (according to Richard Gerber, MD) Mental body is described in the esoteric literature as the “vehicle through which the self manifests and expresses the concrete intellect”, It creates and transmits these concrete thoughts and ideas to the brain so they can be expressed and manifested in the physical world, The linkages with the lower vibration bodies is the endocrine and nervous center in all three other bodies, physical, emotional and etheric, Mental constructs are purely vibrational or energetic and thus provide a more powerful a way to clear a blockage or heal which shows up in the lower bodies.

How Vibrational Med works… (according to Richard Gerber, MD) The spiritual or causal body is often called the Higher Self. It’s frequency is higher than the other bodies, It is focused on the essence of the “abstract ideas and concepts”, It expands beyond the individual self so it has more power to heal all the lower bodies as the energy cascades or “ratchets” down to the lower bodies, So, spiritual healing has the potential for being most powerful of all the energy body healing since it is the cause or initiator of manifestation. There are many higher bodies in the esoteric literature…this should give you an idea of how the higher bodies feed and interconnect with the physical body.

What is Energy Medicine? According to Donna Eden and David Feinstein, Energy Medicine, is “The art and science of fostering physical, psychological and spiritual health and well being. It combines a rational knowledge and intuitive understanding of the energies in the body and in the environment…. The term energy medicine is itself a double-entendre. Energy gives life to the body. Medicine is an agent that is used to heal or prevent disease. In energy medicine, energy is the medicine…this medicine is applied to the body’s energies. Energy heals and energy systems are healed.” (p.2) Energy healing practitioners “read” the body’s energy and provide energy “boosts” to dissolve dense energy or raise low vibrations.

What is Energy Medicine? The anatomy of your energy body includes eight subtle energy systems: Meridians – the energy transportation system bringing energy to all organs and acupuncture/acupressure points (Chinese Medicine)  Chakras – the energy stations for electromagnetic and vital energy (India)  Aura – multi-layer sphere of energy of individual, container for subtle energies that interacts with the environment (protect)   Celtic weave – knits energies of all energy systems together and creates resonance among them (weave) The Basic Grid – provides foundation for energies of chakras (support) The Five Rhythms – seasonal energies, elements that overlay all systems   Triple Warmer  - energetic arms of immune system, a meridian that connects in a “strange flow” with other meridians for immune support Radiant Circuits – precursor to meridians, fluid fields that redistribute energy among meridians as needed, uses spontaneous intelligence

How Energy Medicine works… (according to Donna Eden) Eden’s work is more focused on “how to do” energy exercises to affect the different energy systems of the body, less on how it works, In her book, she describes placing her hands on the different body parts affected by dis-ease, stress or pain or in specific positions or “energy-cises” for each energy system, meridian or area needing wellness, The eight subtle energy systems each represent a way energy moves: Meridians – the energy transportation system bringing energy to all organs and acupuncture/acupressure points (Chinese Medicine)  Chakras – the energy stations for electromagnetic and vital energy (India)  Aura – multi-layer sphere of energy of individual, container for subtle energies that interacts with the environment (protect)

How Energy Medicine works… (according to Donna Eden) The eight subtle energy systems each represent a way energy moves: Celtic weave – knits energies of all energy systems together and creates resonance among them (weave) The Basic Grid – provides foundation for energies of chakras (support) The Five Rhythms – seasonal energies, elements that overlay all systems   Triple Warmer  - energetic arms of immune system, a meridian that connects in a “strange flow” with other meridians for immune support Radiant Circuits – precursor to meridians, fluid fields that redistribute energy among meridians as needed, uses spontaneous intelligence

How Energy Medicine works… (according to James Oschman) According to James Oschman’s book, Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis, it is: the understanding the biological energy systems of body. It could be called “solid state biochemistry and matrix regulation.” “There is no single “life force” or “healing energy”. Instead there are many systems in the body that conduct various kinds of energy and information from place to place. “The physiological and anatomical systems in the body and the energy systems “interdigitate”. Effective therapeutic work on one system inevitably affects the composite.” Understanding the energy flow throughout the body requires understanding of every domain of biology: Geophysical and inter-organism interactions (ecological), Physiology and behavior, Organs, tissues, cells, molecules, atoms and subatomic particles.

How Energy Medicine works… (according to James Oschman) Chapter 3 describes how energy healing actually works…”The circuitry of the body”: When the energy healer puts hands on the body or uses vibrational healing instruments, how does it get into the cells? What is the biological anatomy that moves the energy into the body? The cells are filled with a cytoplasmic matrix or cytoskeleton composed of filaments, tubes, fibers and trabeculae. They aren’t just bags of protoplasmic soup with chemical reactions taking place randomly in the bag. The “cellular matrix is connected across the cell surface with the connective tissue system and the extra cellular matrix.” [See pg. 46.] These three systems work together in an integrated manner to provide communication to every cell of the body.

How Energy Medicine works… (according to James Oschman) As a hands on therapist, what you touch is not merely the skin - you contact a continuous, interconnected webwork that extends throughout the body.” “The entire interconnected system has been called the connective tissue/cytoskeleton…, the living matrix…. The living matrix is a continuous and dynamic “supramolecular” webwork extending into every nook and cranny of the body: a nuclear matrix within a cellular matrix within a connective tissue matrix. In essence, when you touch a human body, you are touching a continuously interconnected system, composed of virtually all of the molecules in the body linked together in an intricate webwork…”

How Energy Medicine works… (according to James Oschman) “The entire living matrix is simultaneously a mechanical, vibrational or oscillatory, energetic, electronic and information network.” “[T]he living matrix itself is a high-speed communication network linking every part with every other.” Scientists have distinguished between different types of communication in this matrix: Messages which “travel through the matrix, as by diffusion through the interstitial fluid lying between its fibers, and Messages traveling in the matrix itself, as by electronic conduction along the protein backbone, or by hopping of protons in the layers of water associated with the protein surface. Now does the term “solid state biochemistry and matrix regulation” make sense?

Other explanations of energy Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., Biology of Belief, 2006 (Best science book of 06) Electroencephalographs and magnetoencephalographs show that: The operation of the brain generates energy "fields“ which can influence cell behavior and gene expression. The mind's field is responsible for the release and dissemination of neuropeptides and other neurotransmitters that control cell and gene activity. The new physics and new medicine clearly establish the important role of the mind in controlling our biology, psychology and genetic activity, The cell membrane is the “brain” in each cell; cell memory is stored inside each cell, not just in the brain.

Other explanations of energy Building on Bruce Lipton’s cell membrane insights: Hugo Rodier, M.D. says that our cell membranes are not able to perform at the level they are capable of performing, The cell membrane has become rigid and is T.O.I.L.ing: Toxic, Oxidized, Inflamed, and Lacking in Energy Boosting the energy of the cells directly, helps make the cell membranes more flexible so they can use their “intelligence”

Other explanations of energy Cellular memories appear to be the “healing control mechanism” of every cell in the body. Southwestern University Medical School in a study released Sept 05. “Our best hope for healing incurable illness and disease in the future may very well lie in finding a way to heal cellular memory. “ They studied humans, animals and plants. The difference between health and lack of health was the cellular memories of the plant, animal or human. Stanford University Medical School, Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., says everything is caused by stress. Stress is caused 100% of the time by a wrong belief imbedded in cellular memories. If you can heal the wrong belief, even genetic illnesses and diseases can heal. New York University Medical School, Dr. John Sarna, says that adult chronic pain and illness is caused by destructive memories. They create constant stress inside of us until eventually something breaks. If you can heal the destructive memory, you can heal just about anything.
