Your Butlin’s residential

Arrival day overview Children will meet in the hall first thing in the morning, with their bag for the residential Leaving school at about 10.00 on Monday 20th May (Please note this time and allow for any travel sickness tablets to take effect.) Arrive at Butlins 1pm, please prepare and bring a packed lunch for the first day this is to ensure you can avoid our public departure times Introduction to the team – Event manager and instructors Welcome brief Fire safety meeting and fire drill carried out Luggage stored securely, until room check-in later on Afternoon activity sessions Room check-in Evening meal Served between 5:30pm and 6:30 pm Sunset activity session Activities start around 7:00 pm Return to accommodation Light out by 9:00 pm

Accommodation, Dining and Safety

Accommodation Two and three-bedroom Silver grade rooms All rooms are located together in the same village All rooms have central heating, bed linen and en-suite facilities Girls and boys sleep in separate areas Teachers’ accommodation is located next to the students Bedtime routine - lights out by 9 pm

Dining The dedicated team of chefs have developed carefully balanced menus with healthy options, the event manager will work with the head chef to cater for any pre-advised dietary needs Parents may be asked to provide some items that are hard to get hold of, or that are very specific to their individual need, but this is only in exceptional circumstances. Three meals will be provided, with a different menu every day The only meal not provided is lunch on arrival day, a packed lunch is required All children will be seated together in the ‘Coast Restaurant’

Safety Butlin’s Minehead resort has manned entrances, exits and fully qualified health and safety team on site at all times Policies and procedures are in place to ensure the safety and well being of all residential guests Safety management systems are regularly monitored and reviewed by the resorts management and consultant experts from within the education and outdoor industry Fully comprehensive Insurance is included Public Liability insurance and travel insurance (for activities), which has been built specifically for outdoor based activities There are qualified first aid trained team on resort 24 hours a day
