How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Your digital footprint could have a very big affect on how your future unravels. If your footprint is full of unappealing content, it could negatively impact your future. You could be declined jobs and thrown out of businesses. On another note, having unpleasant content suddenly rise to the surface could be very embarrassing.

How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Having a positive digital footprint could also have a big impact on your future. It could open up many doors and opportunities. It impresses people when you have a clean digital footprint because that is not something easy to have.

Describe 3 strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe. In my opinion one of the most useful and successful strategies that I personally use is before posting something online to think would my parents be proud of me for posting this? If the answer is no, then you realize that it might not be an appropriate thing to be posting online.

Double checking what your posting is safe and appropriate is always a good thing to do before you post something on the Internet. Once you post something it is very hard to get it back.

What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?  After Mr. Robinson's presentation, and after doing this assignment I have realized how my digital portfolio could have a big role in my future. Being smart with what I post has definitely become something important for me and I'd hope that more and more people start to understand and feel that same as me.
