Producing Material Establishing the specification of the transport safety standard portfolio for the global safety regime Developing and maintaining guidance and information packages supporting the transport safety standard portfolio for the global safety regime Review and revise the Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (TS-R-1)

Producing Material Review and revise Advisory Material for the Agency Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material Safety Guide (TS-G-1.1) Review and revise the Safety Guide on Planning and Preparing for Emergency Response to Transport Accidents Involving Radioactive Material (TS-G-1.2) Review and revise the Safety Guide on Radiation Protection Programmes for Transport of Radioactive Material TS-G-1.3 Review and revise the Safety Guide on Management System for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (TS-G-1.4) Review and revise the Safety Guide on Compliance Assurance for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (TS-G-1.5) Review and revise the Safety Guide on the Schedules of the Provisions of the Agency Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (TS-G-1.6)

Producing Material Coordinate meetings of senior experts from Member States on advice on the development of Transport Safety Standards Coordinate and collaborate with other relevant UN system organizations in the development of common harmonized standards Cooperate with relevant organizations supporting the development of the Safety Standards Support the development of Transport Security Guidance Facilitate and co-ordinate the review of the technical basis for the transport regulations

Assisting with its application Develop, maintain and deliver tools which promote the application of transport standards through identification of the effectiveness of application, as part of the Agency appraisal and assessment services, utilising inter-agency co-ordination where possible Provide for the development and utilisation of self assessment methodology in transport Support the application of transport standards in Member States through effective interaction with Member States and external bodies Provide for Knowledge Preservation

Assisting with its application Interface with other UN Committees, UN Organizations and NGOs and Stakeholders to address denial of shipment Facilitate the delivery of Regional and International Action Plans relating to denial of shipment Facilitate Denials of Shipment Steering Committee Activities Hold Denial of Shipment Regional Workshops Collect input, analyse date and disseminate results from a Denials of Shipment Database, in co-operation with other UN bodies Develop and deliver a communication strategy for Denials of Shipment Facilitate the use of Denials of Shipment Networks Address denial of shipment by coordinating regional networks and developing targeted training packages

Assisting with its application Respond to Member States Requests Support the development of guidance on the application of INES in transport Organize an International Conference on Transport Safety and Security: The next 50 years of transport – creating a safe, secure and sustainable framework. Maintain and disseminate transport safety film Provide training related to transport standards Interact with organizations supporting the application of the Transport Safety Standards (e.g. WNTI, WNA, PATRAM committees, ISSPA, ISO, IFALPA, IATA and ICHCA) Assist in transport matters for the Agency Projects
