Exporting Grades from BlackBoard January 20, 2015

Open the Grade Book Log in to BlackBoard Open the desired course Click on “Grade Center”

Open the Grade Book Click on “Full Grade Center”

Open the Grade Book Your screen should display last name, first name, username, student ID, total, and then all assignments with points which have been earned for the semester. IF not, see the next slide. IF so, skip to slide 8.

Adding Columns Slide your cursor over “Manage” and click on “Column Organization”

Adding Columns Your screen will look like this. IF the items which are required are not in bold, click on the box next to the item and then click on “Show/Hide”.

Adding Columns Then click on “Submit”. This will save your changes. You will be taken back to your Grade Book.

Exporting the Grades After you have the required columns visible, move your cursor to“Work Offline”.

Exporting the Grades Open your downloaded file. This may be accessible through different means.

Exporting the Grades The file will look like this. It is in Excel format. To save this file, click on “Save As”.

Exporting the Grades Save this file with an appropriate name. Save as an “.xls” file.
