Educators’ Feedback and Consultation Findings Requested better data re: exam performance Data collection info not specific/detailed enough for individuals or in aggregate (update options, not just “other”) Would like sample exam questions Would like multi Level exam results Number of commercial and personal type questions should be equal (perceived too many commercial questions) Would like more detailed statistics (requires software change and accurate data) Would like breakdown of curriculum measured objectives Want study manual Reports to course providers are pass/fail for first writes only – request detailed reports by individual or group.

Data Validation Initiative Objective: To verify and guide educator performance through independently validated examination statistics. To certify minimum student training method and course provider prior to challenging the General Level 1 regulatory examination. To publish examination pass rates of course providers to students and the public, with full transparency.

Additional Tools Explored by GIC Improved data and information to course providers and industry stakeholders Creation of core source material/online study materials Requirement of “Verification Certificate”/CIPR course provider validation Modularization of existing examinations Enhanced study tools Curriculum Mapping exercise to all commercially available materials Pre-approval of course providers by the GIC Open book examination/examination reference aids/paperless examinations Publication of course provider results
