Defining Architecture and Engineering Applications of Technology
Technology Technology is the application of knowledge, tools, and skill to solve problems and extend human capabilities. The history of technology involves of the invention of tools and techniques, and is similar in many ways to the history of humanity. Background knowledge and necessity has enabled people to create new things, and conversely, many scientific endeavors have become possible through technologies which assist humans to travel to places we could not otherwise go, and probe the nature of the universe in more detail than our natural senses allow.
Technology Innovation is the evolution of knowledge and tools to serve a new purpose. The wheel is an example of technology that has evolved to serve other purposes (ex. gears)
Engineering Engineering is the systematic application of mathematical, scientific and technical principles that yield tangible end products that meet our needs and desires.
