Summary Prevention and control of HPAI at source * Growing importance for the Region of Asia and the Pacific * Capacity building – Diagnosis, Surveillance and Information (Notification and legislation) *Preparedness should be strengthened to reduce continuous threats to the livestock sector, animal and human health risks, economic losses and to sustain agricultural development and to promote trading opportunities
