History founded in November of 1991 by Lisa Mackell, PT, a pediatric physical therapist initially provided physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies to children in their homes, schools, and early intervention centers has also added special education and social work intervention to the services provided

Intervention Strategies Mission Statement To provide pediatric therapy services in a play environment that will enable a child to maximize their potential Intervention Strategies - Interdisciplinary work with other treating therapists - Collaboration with family, teachers and physicians - Environmental and material adaptations - Everyday activities/exercises that enable children to reach their potential

Job Description & Responsibility report to work each day with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn as much as possible. It is the responsibility of the student completing the internship to arrive on time so they are able to abide by the specific tasks the overseers are asking to be done

Daily Tasks & Routines arrive on time each session observance of OTs/PTs/SP during treatment sessions (private and out in the main gym) cleanliness of the gym (wipe down mats, mirrors, and different toys, organize cabinets, straighten up rooms) assist front desk staff (pulling files and making charts) log hours while there help therapists with specific projects they may need to be completed

Overall Great experience Learned a lot Friendly and positive environment Would absolutely suggest this company to complete an internship with
