Welcome to the February Meeting

1. Hours Deadlines

Hours deadlines 4th 6 weeks Hours must be submitted and verified by Feb 15th. Final Hours Deadline 25 hours + any penalty hours are due by April 23rd If you haven’t finished your hours… Seniors: won’t get graduation cord and collar Juniors: any leftover hours and penalties roll over to next year + 5 penalty hours.

2. Clothing Drive Feb 19th to March 1st

In Clothed by Faith Drive What are we collecting? Brand new packs of socks and underpants for any age and gender Every $10 spent is an hour, max of 5. Write your name on your receipt! Where are we collecting? Drop off donations and receipts to Room 9126 before or after school. Verification email is the NHS email

3. recycling

recycling If you need hours, volunteer for recycling! We recycle every Wednesday after school. You get 30 minutes per map and we allow 1 map if you are doing it alone and 2 if you have a partner. There are still some spots less for February and March but April and May are very open still!

4. Officer elections For the 2019-2020 school year

Officer Positions for Next year’s seniors President, VP, & Sr. Secretary Only members already on the officer team or in the NHS study hall right now may run for these positions. Treasurer In charge of organizing drives and fundraisers for selected charities Chief of Committees Assist the president in organizing volunteer events by creating sign ups and updating the event spreadsheet Historian Maintain the website, update social media, and attend volunteer events to take pictures of volunteering.
